Hello! This is Alistair. Alistair is at home. He is practicing how to hold his breath. During a heart MRI scan, you may be asked to hold your breath. This helps the scanner take clear pictures of your heart. This video will help you practice. It uses simple language.
You can practise this a few times. Practising at home can help you feel more ready and relaxed for your scan. Remember, the hospital staff will help you. You can always ask questions if you are unsure. We hope this video helps you feel confident and ready for your MRI scan.
